In April, our Fundraising Secretary Karen, organised a door to door and an on street collection. After braving the elements around Tamworth Karen, Mel and Lisa raised over £85 in total.
The money will go towards the running of our group. As people gave us money, it soon became apparent that a lot of people in Tamworth have had their lives affected by post natal depression, whether themselves or their daughter.
We would like to thank everyone who donated money and kept our spirits high through the wet weather!
In November 2007, several plucky toddlers brought their families out in the pouring rain to raise funds for the Tamworth PND Support Group. Tamworth's local Councillor Lee Bates joined us on our toddle. Despite the weather being miserable we raised over £400.
We would to thank all those who came on the toddle and that donated.
Karen Clayton, Melanie Osbourne and Lisa Powers braved the wind and the rain in Tamworth Town Centre in April 2008 to shake their tins and raise money for the group. They raised over £80 and did a fantastic job at raising awareness of postnatal depression among the Tamworth folk, and found that the interest on this subject seemed high.
